Eléctrica y a través [Electric, Run Through]

A phone rings. Someone picks up and listens to a voice. It’s the first time they hear that voice speaking those words. A group of people are watching this person, waiting for them to speak and so find out what the voice is saying. The words of the voice run through the listener's body and out their mouth. Some come out of shape. Some come out sung. Most of them fall inside the ears of the group.
Eléctrica y a través is an ongoing series of performances involving a phone. Variations on this work have been presented at Printed Matter Inc., New York, Syndicate, Cologne, Teatro Pradillo and CA2M, Madrid. Voices run through include, among others, Rubén Grilo, Tamar Guimaraes, Anna Manubens, Rob Ochshorn, Biel Pericás, and those of strangers.

Una persona escucha una voz, es la primera vez que oye a esa voz decir esas palabras. Un grupo de personas espera a que la persona hable para saber qué dice la voz. Las palabras de la voz atraviesan su cuerpo hasta salir por su boca. Algunas salen magulladas. La mayoría de ellas van a parar a los cuerpos del grupo.
Eléctrica y a través es una serie de performances que se realizan mediante un teléfono. Variaciones de la pieza se han presentado en Printed Matter Inc., Nueva York, Syndicate, Colonia, Teatro Pradillo y CA2M, Madrid. Entre otras, la han atravesado las voces de desconocidos, pero también las de Rubén Grilo, Tamar Guimaraes, Anna Manubens, Rob Ochshorn, y Biel Pericás.
